EDUCATION
Dr. Maki earned his undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT and earned his medical degree from Ben-Gurion University, Medical School for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University in Beer Sheva, Israel. He performed his internship at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota before undergoing his residency at University of North Dakota in Fargo, North Dakota.
BACKGROUND
Dr. Maki attended both high school and college in Montana. He has been serving the Missoula community as a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon since 2016. He returns to Montana full time in 2020 having spent 10 years working as a solo general surgeon in a rural health setting at Sanford Health, North Dakota.
